Happy Holiday's It's NOT Just Christmas anymore folks so ....DEAL!

OK OK .. Christmas Celebrations reward all children with toys and gifts with a story about a jolly fat man who comes down the chimney whilst following a red nosed reindeer who fly's. uh huh .. South Park gave us Hanukkah Harry and that's what I think of Jolly Ol' Saint Nick..
the children regale about how awesome this fat man is, yet the parents get no reward for the expense paid for a gift.

Christmas is so very commercial.

You can easily find a electric Santa who will sing
HO HO HO loud and wiggle his ass while wearing shades...
I am not into commercial crap as people who actually know me understand.
People long ago lost the real meaning to Christmas...
instead they think it is about a stupid tree and mistletoe, getting a bit tipsy at the company function.
Most people have no clue why a tree is used.
some say it's pagan and they are half right.
When Christians first walked the earth they wanted to convert many people, yet most European's were pagan. Stone Henge ( If in fact it was the first calander as some suspect)  and solstices, equinox's and other various events we still celebrate in order to show Pagan's that's their faith can still be used in Christianity...
The Tree is used as symbol to worship the end of year the shortest day of the year . the death of this life cycle the dawn of the next. So they chop down a tree and it dies as does the past....
It makes sense right?

Point of my rambling is this so many people on facebook have said " It's Christmas- deal with it" well I am here to say .. not always ...
most of us come from NON- Christian Roots.
If you really want to discover the meaning of the holiday seasons put the tinsel down and learn about other cultures....
It's more then what Hallmark or Disney sell's.
hell 90 % of life is blinded by the commercial aspect of it.

I say put away the stupid garland and go to the shelters with your old clothes, visit a relative no one speaks too. forgive someone who doesn't deserve it.
and learn what this season is about.
and have some of the best holidays you have ever had.

Happy Holidays!
